CROCHET CLASSES

Granny Squares $65
Saturday, July 13 and Saturday, July 20, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
This two-day class is for beginners or anyone who wants a refresher on basic crochet skills.
You will learn to: Create basic stitches, work in the round, create the granny cluster, change colors, read patterns, and finish pieces.
You’ll use these skills to create a multi-color granny square.
* Materials are not included but can be purchased from Colorful Yarns before or day of class.
 
Crochet Workshop $35 per class
Saturday, August 10 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
This class is for those who need help with a special technique, a specific pattern, or a specific stitch. Sign up for one or sign up for all depending on the help you need.
Bring your own yarn, pattern, and questions to get help on anything you want.
If you need help finding a specific pattern, let me know before class starts! 
* Materials are not included but can be purchased from Colorful Yarns before or day of class.
 
Learn to Crochet $65
Saturday, August 17 and Saturday, August 24, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
This two-day class is for beginners or anyone who wants a refresher on basic crochet skills.
You will learn to: Create basic stitches, increase and decrease, change colors, read patterns, and finish pieces.
You’ll use these skills to create a striped, two-color scarf.
* Materials are not included but can be purchased from Colorful Yarns before or day of class.

1 skein Queensland Collection Coastal Cotton yarn and size 7 knitting needles
Topics to be discussed:
Session 1: Continental style knitting vs. English style, casting on yarn and knit stitch
Session 2: purl stitch, garter stitch and stockinette stitch
Session 3: casting off, knitting abbreviations, and how to read a knitting pattern
